Native Canadian, Kelly Weiss, immigrated to Southern California 1976 where she built a successful business called Timezone. She sold Timezone in 2005 and retired. While escorting her son for 10 years on the Junior World Golf League - the idea of Sunbib was born. In 2011 she designed and patented the Sunbib as an accessory that protects the neck and chest from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays – and formed Accent Sunwear. Kelly holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Cal State University, Northridge and resides in California with her family.
Tamara Wynn, native Southern Californian, successful Advertising Sales and Consumer Promotions Consultant, partnered with Kelly at Accent Sunwear in 2014. A marathoner and active outdoors woman she immediately made the connection with sun care and protective sun clothing . Kelly and she design, manufacture and market Sunbib, Sun Wrap and Sun Sleeves with multiple patents in play. Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Cal State University, Northridge and also resides in California with her family.
